We want King's Church Kingston to be a place where students are able to integrate and make friends of all ages. Many will have moved away from home for the first time, and we want King's Church to be a home from home for them.
One way that this process can be helped is by linking students with families. Family meals, Sunday lunch, or a trip out (see the local info link) can all be great opportunities to get to know a student and make them feel welcome!
If you're happy to welcome students in this way we'd love you to get involved. You can either ask a student (or group of students!) yourself, or get in touch with us and after discussing how you can help we'll introduce you to someone. You can then get to know them and help them feel welcome!
